White Plains Theatre Group To Host Sensory-Friendly Performance

“The Play Group Theatre”, located in White Plains, is an “open community of collaborative young artists sharing a quality arts experience in a uniquely nurturing, yet creatively charged environment”. The theatre, located in Westchester County, offers a constant row of programs and shows catered to our communities, with hopes to help share the love and beauty of musical theatre. And this month, one of their shoes is extra inclusive…as it is a sensory-friendly show for ALL ages!!

This upcoming Sunday, January 21st, the theatre will be putting on a sensory-friendly performance to the well-loved “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown”. Not only is this performance exciting because of its nostalgic, colorful, childlike aura, but also because it addresses that many people are prone to missing out on these wonderful shows due to their sensory needs not being met. Whether this show is perfect for your children, parents, grandparents, or other loved ones, it emphasizes that sensory needs CAN be met in the theatre!!

The show will be taking place from 2:00pm-4:00pm, with tickets on sale NOW ranging from: $22 regular admission, $18 senior citizen, $18 child under 12. For more information or to pre-purchase tickets, check out their site: https://playgroup.org/tickets/
